Keeping your information private on the internet is very important.

Here are some things that you should and should not do:

  • Don't post your credit card information or social security number on the site unless you really trust it.
  • Your screen name should not contain personal information.
  • When you post information on the internet anyone can see it and use it against you.
  • Make sure all sites you use are secure.
  • Anything online can be used against you in the future and could be harmful whrn trying to get a job or into a good college.
  • Even if you delete your myspace it is going to be on the internet forever.
  • Make sure you know who you communicate with on the internet.
  • Do not share your password with anyone even if they are your best firends.
  • If you post your picture on the internet other people can use it.
  • Always read the Terms of use before you sing up for anything.

  • Whatever you post on Myspace becomes the property of Myspace. They can use it for whatever they want.
